The Revel Console is a playful, original sideboard whose six drawer fronts are striped in light and dark wood, shifting from row to row.

Design Inspiration

Its name comes from Revel, a town near Toulouse renowned as a historic center of fine furniture making and marquetry, a craft reflected in this console. The whole piece plays with geometry: three rows of two drawers, their stripes offset so they never line up. Slim pulls in the light wood punctuate the front; a recessed plinth lifts the volume just off the floor.

Key Features

Materials: Cabinet body in plywood veneered with natural white oak; top in ash wood with solid black walnut

Colors: Golden pecan and natural

Dimensions: 150 cm width x 42 cm depth x 80 cm height

Drawers: Six, in three rows of two

Front: Alternating vertical strips of pale oak and dark walnut, offset row to row

Pulls: Six slim horizontal bars in the light wood

Base: Recessed plinth

Design and Manufacturing

Every piece of wood is unique and fitted perfectly into place, strip by strip, a visual game that leaves no one indifferent.
