Pinoso Table
Two marbles, one balance. The Pinoso Table sets a half-round top of Emperador Light on a single carved travertine pedestal, and lets the contrast between them do the talking. Beside an armchair, with a lamp on it, it speaks for itself.
Design Inspiration
Its name comes from Pinoso, a town in Spain's Alicante province beside Monte Coto, one of Europe's largest ornamental stone quarries, where the cream stone Crema Marfil is extracted. The half-round top seems to rest lightly on the tapered pedestal. Below, the warm beige travertine is carved into three rounded lobes with soft vertical folds, like a column shaped by hand.

Design and Manufacturing
A demanding piece to make. The base is carved from solid travertine, lobe by lobe, and the top is cut so the pedestal passes through it with a seamless fit, perfect to the eye and to the hand. Veined Emperador Light against open-pored travertine: the contrast is the point.
Usage and Maintenance
Indoor use only. Clean marble and travertine with a soft cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner; wipe up spills promptly. Avoid abrasive or acidic products. Use coasters.

Beside a sofa or armchair, as a bedside table, or as a sculptural accent in a hallway. Pinoso: two stones, carved and fitted, with presence far beyond its footprint.
