Aquileia Jar
Bold graphic lines on a softly shaped vessel. The Aquileia Jar combines a speckled off-white ceramic body with wavy black bands, creating a striking decorative piece with an expressive, graphic feel.
Design Inspiration
Its name comes from Aquileia, a once-great Roman city in northeastern Italy, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site prized for the ancient mosaics of its Patriarchal Basilica.
The jar itself is a tall ceramic vessel with a softly irregular silhouette and a wide mouth. Its speckled off-white glaze is wrapped in wide black bands that curve and narrow as they rise, like brushstrokes, and continue over the rim to the inside. A warm beige tint around the rim softens the contrast and adds depth to the speckled surface.
Key Features
- Tall ceramic vessel with softly irregular silhouette and wide mouth
- Speckled off-white body with wavy black bands that continue inside the rim
- Color: Black and off-white
- Dimensions: Opening approx. 20 cm × Height approx. 30 cm
Design and Manufacturing
Made from ceramic with a speckled off-white finish and wavy black bands. The wide opening and the softly irregular body give the piece a sculptural profile, while the graphic stripes make it a focal point on any surface.
Usage and Maintenance
Indoor use only. Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products and excessive moisture. Handle with care to preserve the ceramic finish.
Versatility and Style
Perfect for branches and dried flowers, or on its own on a console, sideboard or dining table. Aquileia brings together black bands on speckled ceramic, a waisted form and a wide mouth — a jar created to make a statement.

The team followed up after delivery to make sure everything arrived safely. The Camp de Mar Lamp is lovely and the quality is exactly as described.
The Dès Màrmols Lamp is now the first thing people notice when they come in. The ceramic base and fabric shade looks beautiful and the quality is evident.
What I wanted was a lamp that changed the mood of my living room in the evenings without harsh overhead light. The Bassa Lamp does exactly that. The light it produces is soft, warm, and flattering in a way that photographs simply do not convey. The marble base and rattan shade adds to this warmth. Delivery took around two weeks — the packaging was excellent. Not a mark on it. Salaterra clearly cares about how their products arrive.
I ordered the Catlar Lamp and got in touch with a question before delivery. The response was fast and genuinely helpful. When the lamp arrived, the team followed up to make sure everything was right — something I rarely experience. The lamp itself is beautiful: the ceramic and natural fiber shade is exactly as described and it looks stunning in my bedroom. It arrived in about two weeks, well packaged and not a mark on it. Highly recommend.
The team followed up after delivery to make sure everything arrived safely. The Ses Mones Lamp is lovely and the quality is exactly as described.
